Stripe’s processing fee is separate and goes to Stripe, not to us — you are the merchant, so it is charged to your account the same way it would be anywhere else.

- Who gets paid?
- You do, directly. Each shop is its own Stripe account, so money from a sale lands with the designer, not with us. We take 8% of each pattern sale. Stripe’s processing fee is yours on top, because you are the merchant. When a LoopStore Premium member gets one of your patterns with a credit, we pay you a flat £4, with no fee taken off.
- What is LoopStore Premium?
- A membership for makers, run by us across every shop: £5 a month for a pattern credit. You choose which of your patterns take a credit, and you are paid £4 each time a member uses one on yours. There is nothing else to do, and everyone else still buys at your price.
- Can I bring my patterns from somewhere else?
- Yes. Upload your PDFs and set your prices. Nothing stops you selling the same patterns elsewhere at the same time.
- What stops people sharing my PDFs?
- Every download is stamped with a watermark tied to the buyer and logged, so a leaked file can be traced back to the account it came from. It is not DRM and it will not stop a determined copier, but it makes casual resharing traceable.
- Do my customers need an account with you?
- They need one login, which works across every Loopstore shop they buy from. Their library follows them, so a maker who buys from three of your peers still has one place to read.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. Until you point one at us, your shop lives at yourname.loopstore.shop.
- What happens if I leave?
- Export your customer list and your patterns and go. Your customers are yours; we do not email them without you.
